Photographer's Note

Picture taken in 1998 (scanned).

We walked a lot in Saint Malo. Here, we were in the "Place St-Pierre", in the "Cité d’Aleth". At right, we can see the "Tour Solidor".

The Solidor Tower shelters all the collections of the museum of Saint-Malo on ocean navigation - many reduced models, nautical instruments and objects made by the sailors during their crossing or brought back from far away.

Another view of "Cité d'Aleth" in Workshop.

Note: I was puzzled about the silhouette of a bird we see on the left. First, I thought it was there, but I didn't remember of seeing it before. So I checked the original paper picture and there were no silhouettes like this one. Then I saw a kind of small piece of line, a dust, exactly in this shape, now in the plastic of the album... voila the revelation of the mystery... a vagary of the process of scanning.
I'm going to change the title accordingly ;-)
