Photographer's Note

The whole of Brittany swarms with obliging and facetious little pixies, hiding away, out of sight. No other area shelters so many such creatures, and indeed, they are more numerous than fairies. These mischievous gnomes generally resemble small humans and come in different shapes and sizes, depending on their country of origin. Hiding beneath rocks, in the undergrowth, in fields or near menhirs and dolmens, living in tiny houses, appearing to humans only when rainbows show up in the sky, they have different names like korrigans, farfadets or poulpiquets.
