Photographer's Note
The small harbor called Gwin Zegal in Plouha, Brittany. It is known for its trunks of wood planted in the sea used to tie up the boats. It is well worth a visit if you're around

Hi Philippe,
A very nice low POV giving great detail in the mud flats and tree trunks adding depth to the shot.
Have a nice weekend.

Bonjour Philippe
Une paysage étrange et très beau, c'est bien fait.
Bien vue tous ces poteaux se détachant dans le ciel.
Bel effet de la lumière sur le sable humide.
Bon W E

Hello Philippe,
The sea gives always a especially attractive power, certainly with the low tide and the small boats almost on the sand.
Nice perspective and depth picture.
Excellent composition, nice presentation, nice photo work.
Very well done, TFS.
Have a nice weekend,
John.

Bonjour Philippe ,
Gwin zegal est un port étonnant , très beau vue d'en haut également . MAis à marée basse , avec ce ciel nuageux , et les poteaux tordus , l'effet est intéressant .

HI Philippe
It's a fascinating subject -I love this kind of shot - there are many boats make such wonderful subjects moored along the coast that seem to compete with equal number of wooden poles dominating the scene and your low impressive pov enhancing their prominence so effectively. I love the way the grounded red boat is sorta offset on the diagonal creates a great foreground leading into the pano and then you have superb sky up there filled by some wonderful light & pastel shades amongst those heavenly clouds, very enjoyable as it is!! Delightful image, love the detail and atmosphere shrouded by such a great feeling and your artistic processing is applauded. My congrats
Best regards

Bonsoir Philippe,
Je suis passé 2 fois à cet endroit, toujours à marée haute, et l'impression est complètement différente sur ta photo ! Le grand angle déforme un peu les pieux mais donne une belle impression de profondeur en étirant les lignes.
Amicalement,
Olivier

Hello Philippe
Now that is quite an eerie yet charming scene indeed. The stranded boats and the wooden poles add quite some drama to the scene, helped greatly by the dramatic sky above, while at the same time the scene radiates a tranquil mood that is soothing.
have a great week

Hello Philippe
I was there around four years ago, and took some similar photographs, but none as good as yours. The weather wasn't kind, and the sky was a neutral grey. I like your low angle and wide lens: together they give a great effect. And you were blessed with really interesting cloud formations. I'm glad to see that you've allowed the natural drama its due, without finding it necessary to beef up the contrast and saturation artificially.
Regards
Will
