Ile-de-Batz island in Brittany

"It certainly agriculture to mark more the landscape.
25 farms share the 160 hectares of cultivable and half of the production is sold in the biological circuit.
The fragmentation of plots form a patchwork which gives the island the image of a large vegetable garden.
This fragmentation also explained that horses are still sometimes used.
The fertilization algae is an ancient practice that continues even today.
Traditional cultures are potatoes and cabbage first flower but diversification compels you can see, depending on the season,
Shallots, fennel, salads ... "

The view was taken from the top of the lighthouse.
