Photographer's Note

Île-Tudy is a common French department of Finistere in Brittany.

It is located on the peninsula of the same name, near the mouth of the river at Pont-Labbe and is 20 km from Quimper.

Although located in Bigouden, Ile-Tudy is an enclave "Penn Sardin.

Previously one of the largest port of Finistere (11th to early 20th century, on par with the Guilvinec), Tudy Island became a resort town (its population is multiplied by about 10 each summer compared to winter) through its two beaches, Teven and the Maracana, but also through its port, where many people gather every summer evening. The port focused several bars and restaurants, but also a cinema, "Le Cinéma du Port" which holds the record for the smallest projection booth in the world.
