Photographer's Note

I am on TE today for 7 long years ! 7 years and more than 1,200 pictures posted, nearly one every two days : I am definitely TE addict. Yes, the number of pictures posted on the site and the whole quality has decreased. Yes, I can't understans sometimes why great pictures have very few comments. But I still have pleasure to share on TE the pictures I took everytime I can. TE gave me the will to travel through the many pictures of this wonderful Earth, it's my turn to encourage people to travel and bring back nice pictures !

For this 7th birthday, I chose a picture of I place I know very well because I spent my childhood there. But a place I never bore with : Guidel and the Pouldu bay. It is the estuary of river Laïta which is a natural frontier between Finistère and Morbihan not far from Lorient. When the weather is bad and the sea is strong, the waves run into the bay and this is always a wonderful show. I took this picture at sunset a few months ago, on early spring. The last winter was very windy and rainy in Brittany, the early spring was a little better but that day was stormy again and the the strong sea was beautiful as it is always the case with such weather !
