Photographer's Note

Let's go in the Purple Perigord !
It's the region of vineyards and takes its name from the color of vine's leaves in the fall.
Marked by a mild and temperate climate, "the Bergeracois" is a land for the development of the vine. There are 13 well-known wines like Bergerac, Rosette, Montravel, and Monbazillac of course ...
Here, we are on the vineyard of Pécharmant, planted on the slopes of Bergerac.
Planted in the XIth century, it is the oldest vineyards in this region. Pécharmant would mean the charming hill.
It is an asssembling of 3 varietals vines : Cabernet Franc, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Black Merlot.
The incomparable taste of this wine comes from the particularity of its soil which contains in-depth a layer of ferruginous clay called "Tran".
The Pécharmant is intensely aromatic.
