From illuminations ... to video mapping, a photo from Aquitaine, West

Illuminations on the facades, lights and garlands, it is usual during this holiday season but now it has become very frequent to attend video mapping shows to illuminate and animate the facades of monuments.
Video mapping on the facade of St André Cathedral in Bordeaux. It seems that there were some technical problems to properly project the planned lighting program.

Hello Jean, I like such video mappings on the facades of the building. It is probably not very difficult to do and is a very big attraction for the viewers. Excellent night picture.

A spectacular blue hour shot of the video mapping on the façade of the attractive old cathedral. Good colour, sharpness and framing. The people add scale. Tfs!

Bonjour Jean,

La présence des personnes anime la scène. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de la cathédrale Saint-André avec les image de la vidéo. La lumière environnante a un effet spécial sur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Hello Jean,
A great photo of the bright illuminations on the façade of the old church. I really like the warm glow of the buildings as well, which makes them stand out well from the dark sky. Also the silhouettes of the people are well included.

This is real a nice picture with the movie on the frontage projected, this in corona time.

Bonjour Jean,
Great blue hour capture. This indeed makes me worried that if the displays become so popular it will be hard to take a real blue hour photos in the future. There will be always some sort of a display on the old architecture.

The illuminated facade is superbly clear sight and stand out against the dark sky and the square in front.
People around enliven the night scene, some of them appearing as silhouettes, other's as "ghosts"...

Technical problems but that's a very interesting latest technique: It must an amazing night & its photos like yours that help keep that night fresh & alive producing this spectacular glowing light and colour. Great capture under low light condition, Well done.

Bonjour Jean,
Le vidéo mapping sur la façade attire un certain nombre de personnes. De nos jours, bien sûr, trop de gens ne devraient pas rester ensemble.
Les couleurs de la cathédrale et de son clocher sont magnifiques.
Je remarque également une belle pièce de liaison entre les deux bâtiments.
