Photographer's Note

Panoramic view on Place de la Bourse, the most beautiful square of Bordeaux. This square is on left side of river Garonne. It was built by architect of king Louis 15th, Jacques Ange Gabriel. It was inaugurated in 1749. It was the first hole in medieval walls of the city and symbolizes the prosperity of the city of Bordeaux. At the beginning the square hoted a statue of King Louis 15th, but it was destroyed on French Revolution and replaced in 1869 by fountain of Trois Grāces (Three Graces fountain). This square is one of the most beautiful example of 18th century french classical architecture.
