Photographer's Note

A big wheel on Quinconces square, the biggest square in Europe in Bordeaux. In the foreground you can see one of the statues of Monument to Girondins and Republic. This huge fountains was built at the end of 19th century and was dedicated to Girondins, one of the groups of French Revolution. The foutain is surrounded by a 43 meters height column and has an incredible number of statues. It is one of the many monuments you can see in the beautiful city of Bordeaux, whom quays area (Port de la Lune, i.e. Moon Port) are filed as UNESCO World Heritage Site .
