The basilica Saint-Michel, built at the 16th century, is located at Bordeaux, on the Meynard place.

The church, of Gothic style blazing, is built between the end of and the 16th century on the remainders of a Carolingian Chapelle . The Chaire is of Feyneau and represents holy Michel embanking the dragon. The stained glasses are destroyed at the time of the Bombardement S of 1940. The Bell-tower insulated, built at the 15th century, dominates of its 114 meters all the Saint-Michel district to which the basilica gives its name. In 1881 is discovered a Gallo-Roman Cimetière as well as Catacombes under the Tour.
