Photographer's Note

In 1283, Edward Ist, king of England owns the Aquitaine. Every year, the butchers must give a bull to the clergy, and so they got the privilege to show the fat beefs (between 800 and 1000 kg)in the streets of the city (Bazas) on fat tuesday. Since this date, the tradition is followed.
I went yesterday, but it was snowing, so I didn't stay very long, and so didn't take the pictures I had in my mind.
This shot was taken in 2003. Scan of an argentic slide.
In WS, 2 other pictures, the first one taken in 2003 and the last one (numeric!)-the end of the story - yesterday
