Photographer's Note
For many years France has had a protectionist policy for its motor manufacturing industry, particularly from the 1950's to the 90's, with the result that foreign imported vehicles were prohibitively expensive and almost all vehicles on French roads were built there. (Contrast this with the free market policy of the UK government - Britain's motor industry is now almost entirely owned by companies outside the UK.) France is also a country full of small family run farms, and everyone has a van to take their produce to the market. Citroen, Renault and Peugeot have all made some beautiful, quirky vans which we don't often see outside their own country. I liked the 'face' on this one just up the road from where we stayed in the Alps.
I hope Olli won't mind, he has inspired this one with his amazing abstracts with added noise etc.
Levels, adjusted hue, usm, added noise, crop.
