Wow this is such a cool piture. Taken from far end length of 400 is such a great idea which makes the moon coming to the front so close. Without the tree, the picture seems to be simple. And this is great. Sothy

Superbe cette compo avec excellent PdV, belle lune bien grosse et une jolie silhouette d'arbre... la desaturation convient bien a l'atmosphère...

C'est superbe cette lune, quels détails ! Malgré le N&B, la teinte du ciel paraît douce. Très belle composition pour un message d'espoir... 2008 ne pourra être qu'une bonne année ! :-)

Bonjour JB,
cadrage excellent avec le paysage dans une diagonale et l'arbre solitaire en concourant avec la lune à un niveau esthétique, pour voir lequel d'eux est plus beau.
Le ton gris du ciel donne plus un éclat à cette lune précieuse, d'une grande grandeur grâce à l'utilisation du 400mm, dans une image très impactante et agréable.
C'est un grand travail, mon ami.
Un bon Réveillon.

Hello my friend,
So you waited fot the end of the year to impress me? Well, you succeeded because i am impressed ;-)
The composition is awesome. The tree on the right, if it is planted for you, the moon coming up for you on the left (a green star when it was just a big higher), it all fits perfectly. The neuatral colour toning helps also a lot in the overal preseantation. The 200-400 did a great job here...but the eye from the maker of this beauty did all the work...perfect..!!!

Wow ... what an exciting upload of yours with the full moon coming up and the lonely tree standing there on the little hill going so well with this beautiful sad text. Fantastic mood and a wonderful way to say good-bye to the year ending.

La Lune ne pouvait pas être plus grosse, elle paraît comme en lévitation, dans une atmosphère d'épouvante. Il ne manque plus qu'un loup hurlant à la mort. Excellente composition.

Un peu d'absence et est bien difficile de choisir entre tes plus recents posts! J'ai choisi celle-ci par la poésie qui communique. Ce sont deux elements que j'aime beaucoup: un solitaire arbre et la Lune, mais tous les deux, comme s'ils bavardaient un peu de leur differents vies! La lumière est douce, un peu mystérieuse, l'ensemble est vraiment beau et c'est vrai un peu nostalgique! J'espère pour tous, pour toi, la nostalgie devienne bonheur, que le 2008 peux te donner tous tes rêves!

Wow, I have been looking at this one for quite a while. And still I'm wondering if this was really the moon in that location ;-). At first I could not believe the intensity of the moon without a halo around it, combined with the visibility of the tree silouette. Still not sure about this one... The tree at 1/640 should be pitch black... The settings just don't make sense for the clarity here! Or is it a day shot that you post processed into a night shot? Just wondering about the settings and the result. I like it! Just no idea how you got to it ;-).

Yes, 2007 was a year as you describe it there. Good thing is that for 2008 it can only get better! ;-)
