Comming back on the high part of Vercors, Font d'Urle more precisely, this winter there was only snow and ice, now the ground is covered with a carpet of flowers. Trekking is sometime difficult is you don't want to walk over the flowers. Most of them are : Crocus versicolor, Narcissus assoanus, Gentiana brachyphylla and on this picture Erythronium dens-canis. Sorry for our English friends but I can't find a traduction for the names of the flower so I mention the scientific name in latin. I think it is universal.

Hey Jean Pierre,
A lovely spring shot with good colors and contrast. The low POV works very well for this shot. The playful clouds in the sky create a very serene atmosphere. Well done!!! TFS

Salut Jean Pierre,
Très jolie cette composition très harmonieuse (courbes de la montagne, petite plaque de neige et joli ciel) avec ce superbe premier plan. Je suis d'accord avec toi, je ne supporte pas d'écraser des fleurs en randonnée! Merci pour ce cours de botanique (je pensais à des cyclamens sauvages!)
J'aurais juste ajouté un petit poil de netteté!

Hello Jean-Pierre,

This picture is really lovely and raises all the nice feelings in me that I'm looking for when being offroad. It smells like freedom and spring. f/20 was a good choice to get sharp details, even if I am surprised that the details aren't more sharp at such a small aperture. But the picture is very inviting anyway and I like it as it is.
