This is a very relaxing lake shot, with interesting colours in the water.
However although I see what you're trying to do with the tree, the base isn't that great!
I have done a WS to focus on the ducks and reflections.

I don't think I would have noticed the ducks if they weren't in the title but that doesn't detract from a lovely shot. The colours and reflections are great and I like the way the tree branches come across the top without breaking the picture up too much.
There appears to be a very slight slope on the far lake shore.
Really nice shot.

A very pleasant scene I would have added more of the sky and branches and less of the base of the tree.Did you use a polarising filter ? I don't think so.I find that filters play a great role in eliminating glare..Anyway it's a good composition.

Atmosphère bucolique douce et calme, les couleurs sont agréables, les reflets donnent de la profondeur et introduisent le ciel dans la composition.L'arbre et les canards au premier plan donnent de la vie.
Il me semble que l'absence d'élèments à
l'arrière plan droit déséquilibre légèrement l'ensemble.Il faudrait aussi une légère rotation sur la gauche. De toute façon une bien belle image.

I don't really see the duck immediately but I see beautiful water, cool colors and the glow of the branches because of the sunlight. Very good, relaxing ambiance created by tis picture. .
