Photographer's Note

Last but not least from the "Dent de Crolles" set. 6.30 a.m., the sun is just crossing the Alps barrier, right next to the Mont Blanc, which is for once quite of a normal color - see my blue and pink shots of it... I wanted to have as much details as possible of the rocky hill in the second foreground and yet keep track of the bright blue sky where planes had already painted their way, like a huge web of clouds. Thus did I increase the aprture time. I love this photo because it shows a unique moment in life, yet a moment that renews itself each day, a moment that ervybody knows or might know. One has just to open his eyes every morning to this simple beauty: daybirth on earth. Life's amazing.
