Photographer's Note
Built on its rocky outcrop and surrounded by its ramparts built on the orders of François I?, St Paul is certainly one of the most beautiful villages in Provence.
The beauty of the surrounding area, quality of life and exceptional light has inspired numerous famous artists, painters, writers and poets, some of whom took up residence in the village.

Nicely managed light, and a good an interesting perspective on the place, but I'd have like to see a person in this shot to add a bit of life to it, looks like the place has been designed to enjoy experiencing.

Hello Pascal,
Wonderful this nice shot with a great light management.
Indeed this town looks great and this shot shows us some beautiful details of it. The tiny street, the staircase, the fountain and the archs are just some of the nice details to be seen on your photo. It's really a pity that no one was apssing there at the time you took the photo to give it more life.
Cheers.
