Photographer's Note

There was nobody that afternoon. Difficult to introduce a human presence in my photo as a consequence(something that I always try). The way I found to overpass this difficulty is to shot this "Boutique ouverte" which means that the commerce is opened.

This photo belongs to the theme Autour de la Voie Mathis.

The "Voie Mathis" is a city lane (behind the wall that you can see on the picture) that permits to go from the West to the East of Nice without stop. It forms an alternative way to la Promenade des Anglais. An important part is parallel to the railway. Because of the noise, the traffic pollution etc areas along the road are not attractive and have been fixed as they were in the 50ís (small houses or small buildings) or totally destroyed and replaced with buildings. I'd like to underline these different aspects.
