Photographer's Note

After the nice last week-end in Lille, I had the chance to travel to the opposite side of France and go down to the beautiful city of Marseille. Although it was only for one day, I had at least one hour to try catching some images.

Before 1975, Marseille did not have any fittings to allow people to easily access the sea, despite its 20km of coast.

The seaside park of the Prado is an artificial fitting-out of the coast created at the end of the seventies by the old mayor of the city, Gaston Defferre. It has been built using the material taken out during the construction of the two lines of the Marseille underground. It is know a favorite walking location for the people of the city.

A nice (sunny) sunday to all of you!

Hope you will enjoy!
