Photographer's Note

Bormes-les-mimosas
In the rue Carnot is the museum of Bormes, in a 17th century building, beautifully restored. It is striking for its splendid stone ceilings. If it was already used as a prison, town hall or school for boys, since 1926 it houses paintings of 19th and 20th centuries. Created by GH Pescadère it houses many works of some of the painter Bénézit akin to pointillism and neo-impressionism. But it also leaves a special place in sculpture and a collection of ex-voto old.
