Photographer's Note

During last summer I passed to Aix to Provence and I was allured by the multitude of fountains dispersed in the city. Aix in Provence has 26 public fountains. I propose to you to show them, perhaps not all!
The poet Jean Cocteau delicately evoked in a well-known quatrain:
Aix. A blind man believes that it rains,
But if it could see without his cane
He would see the blue fountains
Chanter the glory of Cézanne.
The text such as it appears in the poetries 1917/1920 published with the editions of the Siren.
I start with the Fountain of the 9 guns located on the famous Mirabeau course. It was used formerly as feeding trough with the herds coming from Arles in transhumance.
