" The Henri Gaussen botanical garden is located in the center of Toulouse, managed by the University Paul Sabatier , however it is from the Natural History Museum. It is located in the town of Toulouse in the neighborhood of garden plants, and named , since 19911 , the famous plant geographer and eminent botanist , Professor Henri Gaussen who ruled from 1948 to 19582 .

In the early nineteenth century , Philippe Picot Lapeyrouse creates botanical garden becomes part of the garden plants Toulouse3 . The botanical garden is organized quickly around several schools such as schools of medicinal plants , industrial, feed , etc.3 . Only the botanical school continues to exist after the international exhibition of 18873 . This is the location of this school is the current garden botanique3 .

The botanical garden farm in 1997 at the closing of the Museum of Toulouse. It reopened to the public in February 20083 , and it is composed of an ethnobotanical spirale1 and several greenhouses ( tropical , carnivores, etc.). ".
