Photographer's Note

Toulouse, in the botanical garden , the steeple of the church of St. Exupere is reflected in the glass wall of the Natural History Museum . The curved wall is composed of several glass panels .

" The Holy Exupère church is a baroque parish church which is in the old quarter of Saint -Michel on the right bank of Toulouse. His little octagonal tower houses a carillon of 14 bells.

Built from 1620 to serve the chapel Discalced Carmelites , religious order from the reform of Carmel, it was inaugurated in 1623 by Jean- Louis de Bertier Provost of St. Stephen , Bishop of Rieux- Volvestre under the patronage of Saint Joseph.

Abandoned the French Revolution to the Concordat , it is again returned to worship and consecrated in 1807 under the patronage of St. Exupère new bishop of Toulouse the fourth century.

It was a historic monument by decree of May 3, 1974 ; facades and roofs courtyard remaining galleries of the old cloister were recorded by the same fixed ... "
