Photographer's Note

Next photo of my walk around the cirque of Gavarnie in Pyrénées. Here is a view on the cirque from well named Bellevue heights (Bellevue means "beautiful view"), at about 1,700 m height. From there, you can walk in a few hours to Port de Boucharo pass or to Brèche de Roland, but conditions can be dangerous at that time of the year because of snow. Since I am not an experimented walker, I just walked down bottom of cirque of Gavarnie ! Tourist offices say you need about 3 hours for this walk Gavarnie village -> Bellevue Heights -> Cirque of Gavarnie -> Gavarnie village. But you need more time if you never stop taking photos as I did !
