Photographer's Note
The chamois is a cousin of the most famous chamois that live in the alpine mountains. The chamois are protected in the Pyrenean mountains and this one caught my eye and my photo lens ... seen and photographed on a slope of the Cayan Plateau. During my cross-country skiing trips it has become quite rare to be able to observe them so closely. A photo taken at 400mm zoom.

Hello, Jean, My today neighbour :)
You were so lucky that your camera was ready when you saw this chamois so close. Marvellous composition. In Tatra mountains, we have also subspecies of the chamois of the genus Rupicapra but I have never seen them so close.
Delightful view.
Best regards Malgo

Hello Jean,
A fine photo of this cute animal which you captured in a good position. You managed a very sharp and well exposed photo from some distance and the scenery provided you with a good composition. I like the diagonal area of snow between green and brown areas.
Regards,
Gert

Hi Jean
Must be a rare animal, high up on the snow slope that you have been able to get quite a close profile of him. I love its well featured detail, great tone and superb overall contrast. Lovely wildlife capture in the natural environment, Congrats

Hello, Jean
This chamois seems unconcerned by your presence and more interested in foraging for moss and other vegetation before they disappear under the snow. The diagonal axis adds dynamism. Tfs!

Hello Jean,
You were so fortunate to meet this chamois and to get such an amazingly sharp and detailed photograph of it. We can clearly see its subtle markings (for camouflage) and even a catchlight in its eye!
When I started work, at first, I used to have a car called a Singer Chamois, which I loved dearly, but it wasn't as pretty as the real thing!
Thanks for sharing this,
Bev :-)

Bonjour Jean,
La végétation cadre bien l'animal. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails du chamois. La lumière rehausse les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Hi Jean,
Lovely view of this wild mountain animal. Your tele lens worked perfectly and the chamois really doesn't seem to be very far away. I also like the diagonal line of snow.

Hi Jean.
Sensationally captured this chamois, which has a nice setting for the photo to look, the remains of snow, these green bushes and the reddish of fallen leaves, it seems that it has to eat.
Good management, of brightness and sharpness.
Very well done. I like.
Enjoy the weekend.
My best wishes for you.

Bonjour Jean,
