A very good photo from a fantastic scenery. I like the diagonal accent of the composition and the large grey peak rising above the snow-covered slopes. The photo is perfectly exposed and the skier is a perfect, and necessary, part of the composition.

Hello Jean,

The weather was perfect for photography and you have taken every advantage of it!
The light is perfectly controlled to show the snow, white and textured, without any oe.
The skier makes a fine focal point and guides us along the slope towards the dome and then, further towards other snowy peaks.

A very unusual perspective of this shot, looking like the entire slope is shifted into an avalanche mode. Yes, mountains are an amazing, but dangerous place to be in winter. People who particularly enjoy skiing or hiking the world up there is a few steps closer to the heavens. Thanks for sharing, have a nice Sunday.
