Notre-Dame de Bonne Nouvelle, Port-Vendres

Exterior by night.

The Parish church Notre-Dame de Bonne Nouvelle devoted in 1888, is built in an external style Romano-Byzantine, with a neo-gothic nave.

The sailors of port-Vendres greeted with devotion at the time of their entry or their exit of the port, a statue of the Virgin contained in a niche, to which they had given the name of Notre-Dame de Bonne Nouvelle, Notre-Dame of good news. The statue of the Virgin is thus named, in the parish church.
