Photographer's Note

Discovered on the Méjean Causse on September 17, 1897 by Louis ARMAND, this marvelous site is exploited since June 11, 1927.

After a descent with the funicular allowing an easier access, the visit of the AVEN ARMAND, brings you to more than 100 meters under the ground to discovered one of the purest jewels of the history of humanity.
Impassioned guides will make you admire, thanks to a setting in light with the changing effects, the Virgin forest and its 400 single stalagmites the most in the world.

You will never forget the Palm tree, the Turkey, Draperies, the Jellyfishes, Cauliflower, and the jaw of the Tiger.... and of course the Largest Stalagmite known to date in the world which top of 30 meters is shone and scintillated like a diamond.
