Photographer's Note

Colourful chairs in a restaurant in Collioure, a village in the southernmost part of France. Only a few kilometres from the spanish border, it has a strong Catalan culture. It used to be a strongly fortified settlement in the middle ages, and later on became a commune of artists, mainly painters. Both influences can still be seen in the roads with its colourful houses, many street artists and in the thick city walls.
