I remember this scene from a train window. Fascinating old walls and towers. Great sense of depth and lots of nice details from front to back.

Lovely panoramic view with many layers and lots of depth. I am reading a book called Labyrinth which is set in Carcassonne, with lots of descriptions of its walled cite and chateau comtal - your photo shows it just as I imagine it from the book.

Très jolie vue sur les rampards de carcassonne. Image riche en couleurs et en détails.
J'ai osé ce WS pour essayer de réduire le bruit sans trop dénaturer le paysage. Qu'en penses-tu ?

Bardzo ³adna panorama, ³adnie zagospodarowany kadr. delikatna mgie³ka w oddali ¶wietnie podkre¶la perspektywê.
£adnie pokaza historyczna budowla na tle bezkresu krajobrazu.

Bonjour Jadwiga,
Superbe vue des remparts de Carcassonne. J'avais fait d'identiques prises de vue depuis l'aire de repas de l'autoroute.
Ta photo est mieux meilleure car tu as bénéficié d'un meilleur temps ;o)
Très belle réalisation et excellent POV.

Très belle photo des murailles de Carcassonne. Elles ressortent nettement, ainsi que les vignes à l'avant, et donnent un bel effet sur la campagne bleutée et plus floue à l'horizon.
Je me permets d'ajouter cette photo au thème de g_clemens: ancient towers from all over the world. J'espère que tu n'y vois pas d'inconvénient!
