Photographer's Note

LA PORTA (196 inhabitants – 535 m of altitude), a very pretty village of micro region called CASTAGNICCIA in High-Corsican.
A baroque old church with the immense bell-tower sits imposingly in the centre of the village.
The area is strewn with delightful small villages very little inhabited except summer period, all with religious buildings (convents and churches) in state or ruins but of a common architecture.
The shot is taken after decline of the sun behind the mountain, from where obvious lack of lighting. 
I hope you will like it all the same.

Today the village must be covered by 30 cm of snow so much it snowed this night on the east of CORSICA.
