Fautea, a photo from Corse, South

Photographer's Note

On the commune of CONCA (CORSE-of-South), the peninsula of Fautea, property of the Conservatoire of the littoral and works lake, conceals a tower genoese which was built within the framework of the constructions decided by the office San Giorgio since 1512.
This tower was born in 1592; work of 12 master masons and under the guard of 50 soldiers.
Its first role was the monitoring of the sea in the event of pirate approaches of ships.
The turns also exerted a commercial control on behalf of the Republic of Genoa. The guards (torregiani) supervised the cargoes, anchorages and licences of export.

Fautea had already been the subject of one of my first photographs on TE. You can look at it here and to see the way which I traversed since ;-)).
I hope you will like this new version more.

Bonjour Pierre,
Effectivement pour la composition c'est nettement mieux avec la belle courbe de la plage pour guider l'oeil. Cet endroit me rappelle agreablement mon lieu de vacances qui est tout pres, c'est Pinareddu/Pinarello, qui a aussi sa tour, sa jolie petite plage a l'eau transparente et son petit port avec des bistrots et restaurants sympas, de tres bons souvenirs !

Une bien belle image Pierre, un endroit de rêve, comme il semble y en avoir tellement du côté de chez toi... Le tout est parfaitement équilibré, avec des tonalités intéressantes. J'aime beaucoup les reflets du soleil sur la mer. Peut être un poil trop de netteté (contours un peu blancs).

A splendid beach with lovely sand , the curving and the green island with all this trees give a beautiful composition, maybe a wonderful place for holiday.

Effectivement il y une belle évolution entre les deux photos. Bon point de vue sur cette version. Les éléments sont bien positionnés dans la photo et j'aime comment la cote se detache en silhouette.
Une belle prise.

Bonsoir Pierre,
La maîtrise peut se comparer à une montre : on ne voit point marcher l'aiguille ; elle marche cependant, et ce n'est qu'au bout de quelque temps qu'on s'aperçoit du chemin qu'elle a fait. Il en est de même, je pense pour la photo !
La qualité est bien présente avec ces magnifiques reflets sur la mer et la netteté générale. Nous avons l'impression d'avoir une fenêtre ouverte sur la plage.

Hello Pierre. Good result you got in the not-so-easy light, with an effective presentation of the curved shoreline leading the eye towards the small fortress on the peninsula. The glittering sunlight reflections on the water are a beautiful add. Nice shot.

Semi-contre jour qui fait apparaitre les reflets argentés sur la surface de l'eau et cela donne un certain intéret à cette composition.
Sur la photo précédente il aurait fallu masquer un peu de ciel et corriger l'assiette de l'horizon.
