Cloud of wind, altocumulus to lenticulair I think announcing wind for the night indeed the following night (this night) a large storm of wind with points has 150 km/h on Bastia and the Corsica course.

Amazing light, Dominique! The sky and water are fabulous, but I find there's rather too much complexity in the dark boats and building. Since they're secondary, something simpler might have worked better.

Very good shot Dominique! We can feel the atmosphere of such evening with the cloudy coloured sky. But I agree with Greg about the building disturbing a little.
Très belle prise Dominique! On sent très bien l'atmosphère de cette scène sous ces nuages colorés et orageux, mais je suis un peu d'accord avec Greg en ce qui concerne le bâtiment qui "trouble" un peu la composition...

Rien de neuf à ajouter que les autres n'ont pas déjà dit. Vraiment phénoménal. Devant le grandiose de ce ciel il fallait vraiment qu'il y ait toutes cette armada. Je crois qu'un seul bateau n'aurait pas donné le même équilibre. Le ciel a trop de puissance il fallait quelque chose de puisssant à la base de la photo.
Aucune indication à la méthode employée pour obtenir ce résultat. Je présume qu'il y a eu utilisation d'un filtre.
Ma seule petite, mais vraiment petite, déception face à cette splendeur est que la bâtisse en arrière plan ne soit pas un bâtiment ancien pour mieux s'harmoniser avec le reste. Mais personne n'y peut rien.

Vraiment dramatique, il ne me reste plus de point à donner aujourd'hui. Alors vous devrez vous contenter de mon admiration.

C'est une image splendide très bien cadrée et bien exposée.
Le gros nuage lenticulaire est placé sur une zone forte du cadrage.
Vous étiez présent au bon moment.

There is a reason why there is 1000 over points accumulated for dom. And u can find the answer right after viewing all the pic he took.

Fabuleuse photo ! L'immensité de cette masse nuageuse face aux frêles embarcations qui vont bientôt souffrir sous les rafales. La maison dans le fond donne une notion d'echelle appuyant encore l'effet gigantesque de la tempête qui s'annonce.

Je suis là grâce au lien de la photo précédente. C'est la photo qu'il faut avoir vu sur TE. Tout a été dit sur la composition et les couleurs. Un point n'est pas éclairci sur la technique: filtre, reprocessing..?
Quelqu'en soit la technique on ressent pesamment le déferlement qui se prépare.
