Photographer's Note

Let us continue our strolls in BALAGNA while passing today in AREGNO.
In Corsica, the government of the pisans by all was extremely rented, because their judges could perfectly reconcile the love of the inhabitants, that they were rich modest or poor, by keeping each one in his place, the lords, the gentlemen, the common peoples and the others.
This is why alive in peace, narrowly linked, forgetting misfortunes of the past, Corsicans could build these beautiful old churches, these superb bridges and so much of other buildings of an excellent architecture and a singular control which one sees today still some specimens.
It is about an established fact limited to part of Corsica and especially North's Corsica.
One finds in the Corsica Romance church the features of Pisa's art of the time:
- extreme simplicity of the plan
- central nave and semicircular apse glaze of a vault in bottom of furnace
- polychromy
- modesty of dimensions

Essence isn't it that in the medium of such a simplicity the Corsicans of this time had the will to leave the testimony of their faith.
Witnesses whom it is necessary to preserve of the men and the ravage of time.
Church of the Trinity is classified Historic building.

In WS, the pediment's large view.
