Who thought I will celebrating Deepavali in Reunion..... And holi !!!! Great island of cultural diversity...

Deepavali (or also Diwali) is festival of light, the day when the evil was defeated.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diwali
Holi the festival of colors is normally celebrated in February or March http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holi
Here in Reunion they combined both on Deepavali... after all celebration is celebration... important is to keep the simile on the face and in the heart...
