Photographer's Note

As promised here is a picture of the main porch of the Cathedral of Lady Mary of Amiens showed in polychromic mode.

It's very interresting to know that churches was paint not only in the interior but also in the exterior faces.

In France, some cities have decided to present us their churches in polychromic way with very powerful lightning.
Chartres made it during summer but for my point of view the technique used here in Amiens is more precise.. It gives a real 3D effect.

I have choosen this picture to wish to all TE members and happy new year...I'll back in 2009.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

Regards.

Yves
