Photographer's Note

Mes coquelicots

My poppies
Because everyone starts to publish photographs of poppies, I will not be the last one. As the weather is gloomy, the poppies are still far! I thus brought out a photograph of last year by hoping that will make come back the sun....

Soldiers died in the war for us.
Soldiers died for freedom
In red fields of poppies.
Soldiers died for the love.
Of a thirsty world of peace
(Translation from original text class of 6th elementary school St. Jude's, Vancouver)
