LE CHÂTEAU DE LA REINE
Si Madame de Pompadour, qui souhaitait « désennuyer le roi », fut l’instigatrice de ce petit château que Gabriel édifia dans les années 1760, c’est le souvenir de Marie-Antoinette qui plane sur l’édifice. En 1774, Louis XVI offrit le domaine de Trianon à la Reine qui put y mener une vie éloignée – trop éloignée pour certains – de la Cour.

The château of the Petit Trianon is a celebrated example of the transition from the Rococo style of the earlier part of the 18th century, to the more sober and refined, Neoclassical style of the 1760s and onward. Essentially an exercise on a cube, the Petit Trianon attracts interest by virtue of its four facades, each thoughtfully designed according to that part of the estate it would face. The Corinthian order predominates, with two detached and two semi-detached pillars on the side of the formal French garden, and pilasters facing both the courtyard and the area once occupied by Louis XV's greenhouses.

Dobar dan.
Lep pogled, interesantan i dobat tekst o staroj palati sa istorijom i opisom ...
Lepo pokazana arhitektura i detalji na fasadi, dobra ostrina i kontrast, lepe boje.
Dobra kompozicija, lepo uhvacen trenutak sa svetlom sunca koji je istakao lepotu arhitekture.
Lepo mesto i palata.
Prijatan dan i sve najbolje, srecno.

You have chosen a perfect time to photograph this beautiful building, with its white, faced stones and sculptural adornments. The low light is lovely, creating contrasts of light and shadows and really enhancing the building as a focal point.

L'étendue du jardin donne de la profondeur à la scène. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de cette partie du Petit Trianon. La bonne luminosité fait ressortir les couleurs. Bonne journée.

Avec le jardin en premier plan eelle devait être très bien à l'aise cette reine dans ce chateau charmante vue quelle architecture avec la fontaine en premier plan ce graphisme de troncs quelle compo et vue superbe.

Bonjour Philippe,

Il fallait quand même qu'il soit plus petit que le château du roi, mais j'aimerais quand même y finir mes jours, surtout avec les jardins environnants. Une très bele lumière qui frappe de côté.

A good exposure on the white highlights with excellent sharpness and superb shadow detail. The reddish tint on some of the trees at right add a nice warm cold color contrast against then blue sky. Tfs.

This is such a gorgeous subject but it is the way you have shot it which makes this photo so special. The light is absolutely magical. I love how the warm light contrasts against the grey sky and then highlights the outlines of the bare trees. Excellent shot
