Parents without rights, a photo from Ile-de-France, North

Photographer's Note

This woman belongs to the AGPL (Association for Lesbian and Gay Parents), an association for lesbians and gays who are or want to be parents. This year they wanted to stress that although they are parents, their being gays or lesbians do not allow them to have the same rights as straight parents. I was attracted by the mask and this mysterious look she had while watching me. And I thought she was a beautiful woman!

She´s a beautiful woman. From the experience here, there is nothing but love toward the kids in the fact of same sex adoption. I hope it will be a reality in France soon.
I love this photo becasue tell us that Gay pride parece is something more than a colorful parade.
