Photographer's Note

4 days of Paris and I really struggled to get some worthwhile images. I'm not much of a city or even street photographer to start with. Then there's my difficulty to motivate myself of taking pictures of things that I've already seen taken before - hundreds of variations, each better than what I know will come out of my camera. Alas, after more than three weeks I finally revisited my Paris folder and will pick out some lone images that I somehow like, not sure if one will include the Eiffel Tower though.

This image was taken in the "Denon" part of the Louvre, can't remember if it is Greek, Roman or even Etruscan. The soft shadows these fragments of an once complete frieze cast on the solid marble wall caught my eyes.
