Photographer's Note

This sculpture located near Forum Les Halles in Paris, reminded me something that happened to me in Turín (Italy).
Walking in Piazza Castello, I saw a young woman that carried a big poster, where one could read: “Abbracci gratis” (Hugs for free). She approached to me with a huge smile in her face, and without saying any word, she gave me one of the longest, warm and sincere embraces I remember ever!

What a nice initiative, isn’t it? But at the same time, it is a bit sad that the lack of affection is so large, that make unknown people launch themselves onto the streets to alleviate as much as possible, the shortage of love in the world.

But let’s take the positive part of it: a gesture so pretty like this one.
Love, affection is what turns the world upside down, so from my modest contribution:

A gesture of affection, represented in this picture, to all of you!

I hope you like it!
