Photographer's Note

I took this photo on one of my favorite streets in Paris. There are immense stone walls tinted the the color of saffron similar to where the leather workers of Fez come from. (I am not exactly sure what that means, but I found it in a book about different walking tours of Paris) Near this area you can still find different leather working shops so I am assuming it this area's tradition. The walls tint becomes lighter and lighter as it approaches the roof. I waited until I could capture some people in my photo to give it more life. It was a sunny day and this little girl was so happy she was skipping.
