Photographer's Note
I got a chance to see the last night of the red filtered light on the Eiffel. This light was to celebrate the chinese new year and at the same time there was a top meeting with chinese ministers in Paris. I know you have seen thiss before but I hope the moon adds something.
I was running very low on battries when I took this. I was changing batteries for every picture into a set that had rested in my pocket for a while. So I did not get many pictures of the lady in red.

Nice composition with the moon Ebbe, and a lot more detail and clarity compared to others shots I have seen. I like the effect, but I am glad to hear it is temporary :) Good exposure too.

Lovely shot, this it is the first time I have seen this, really well taken and I love the moon in it, despite seeing alot of pixels.
Well done.

This is a very very special one, Ebbe. Wonderful red color, and a grat framing with the moon. Gustav would be proud of you. Very good job.

Until now I have seen other photographs of the lady in red, and in my opinion this was not the colour that best suits her. I also guess it is not so easy to capture, I often noticed how the red colour can be disappointing in a nightshot.
However this one is successful, maybe because you got closer to the subject. Very sharp, and the details are enjoyable. Good framing also. One more in my theme ;-)

You really can say that you were lucky because the few days when the Eiffel Tower was Red, there was a very strong fog ( you can see it on mostly TE pictures of the Red Eiffel Tower).
Lucky but talentuous, you catch a beautiful moon with a good angle which strenghten the composition.
Only one "bad point", you perhaps oversharpen it.
Félicitations !

You surprise me, Ebbe! So remarkable, I'll almost have to agree with my son's saying: "There are photos you can't take, because everybody will think that you've done it in PhotoShop!" But I know you wouldn't cheat that way - you're an honest man, Ebbe!
So this is really the Lady In Red (now there's no connection to our black dog) and that's really the moon! All I can say is: "I love it!" Especially the details in the tower and that aura around the moon. Very well captured on the last night!
Och jag förstår att det klarnade upp framåt kvällen...

Merci de me faire découvrir un aspect insolite de cette vieille dame qui ne finira pas de nous étonner. Bravo

Dear Ebbe, for me the moon distracts but that is only a minor point beside. Wonderful contrast of the red and black. I also like the composition and am surprised that I chose the same with my last picture without having seen this before.
