Photographer's Note
In the park around the pond at the Eiffel tower I found a little tree that matched the shape of the open space under the tower.
It makes me think about the way we are. When around strong personalities we crouch down and make ourselves small even if we often know better.
This is the first picture in a short serie based on the Eiffel tower from some angles that are not so common.

Dear Ebbe, do you know those little books where they put in pictures together with wordly wisdoms ? Get this one in there !!! Very well seen, b&w is good for this picture. I also like the contrast of nature & steel, it doesn't look so different here.

I thought the Eiffel tower had been done to death, then you comes along with a fresh view, wow. Choice of technique is great, but the bit of buildings are a little distracting but cropping is too hard on the composition, a challenge for the clone tool!

Wow. Nice silhouettes, good framing of the tree, details are extraordinarily clear - especially the great detail of the tower. I would like also to see this in a symmetrical fashion.

Elegant, well seen and well captured. Served with a (not so small) portion of wisdom. I like most that I'm able to see all the fine details in the steelwork and in the branches. And the contrast that creates! I'm looking forward to further Eiffel Tower pictures - it will be a nice change to my own towers... ;o)

I like the idea and the black and white treatment works very well - it emphasises the graphic nature of the subject and colour would just have been too distracting. Two points though - first maybe it would have been better if the tree hadn't touched the arc of the tower and secondly if you had been standing straight on to the tower instead of at a slight angle. This would have made it more symetrical and given a greater feeling of stability to the picture I think. Striking shot though.

Amazing prespective and such an original view. I like your note too. The detail on the curved edge is so pretty. Very original.

Wonderful view of the famous Eiffel Tower, I can't wait to see the rest of this serie. It's such a sharp and well composed image. Very, very well done!

Very well seen, Ebbe, a nice composition with wood and steel...
N&B is a good choice.
And I also like the little touch of philosophy in your notes..

Very good composition Ebbe and the shape of the tree almost fits into the shape of the Eiffel Tower. Well seen.

Beautiful!
A very unusual angle of the Eiffel and that tree really looks like a part of the construction. Excellent choice of b/w and the silhouettes. Good shot, Ebbe.

This is a wonderful shot. Good framing. The designs are good and the way the other trees fill the bottom of the frame m akes it spontaneous.

You certainly have a good eye to spot architectual qualities in a shot. Well seen. Black and white fits perfectly for this one.

Ebbe, you seem to like the Eiffel tower very much. :) This particular shot caught my eye. I like it's graphic quality. Well done. One thing in my opinion could have added a bit to it is just a little bit of a "base" from the bottom.
