Photographer's Note
This is a picture taken yesterday as i was walking throught paris' streets.
This place is named "place des vosges" and was built in 1605 trought HenriIV orders. Each side is 108 meters long and is marvelous to see, it has a lot of mathematical proprieties ....
Madame de Sevigné, Bossuet, Victor Hugo, Alphonse Dodet were born and lived there.
Hope you like

Hello Sebatien,
It is good to see Paris architecture again. This was one of two reasons I loved to travel to Paris, museums being the first. Excellent photo and note.

Amazing Sebastien!! How you did get that magnifique perspective . It is one of my favourites places in París , the whole Marais in general and not far from there museé Picasso . I 've heard Victor Hugo was born and lived there but did not about the other characters you mention . I can't stop looking at the vosges and the wonderful sky . Paris is so nice but in my case museums are not among the first reasons ;), i think the pounding soul and heart of the place can be found in other atmospheres , chateau rouge , the same marais ,st michel and ...infinite
Loved the comment you wrote in my mural painting picture , we don't have to lose trace to uthopies ifwe want to change something in this world . I have not listened french hip hop , but i remember a sort of cool rap very mixed with other ethnical influences : 113(voix du mali), khaled ...something from mickey 3d , matmatah , noir désir and indochine , oumou sangaré . i really find a lot of pleasure and sense in most of the french music and culture in general .
See you , cuídate amigo !

Belle perspective Sebastien.

Bravo.

Hi Seb - excellent diminishing perspective, the uniform architecture really makes it work, the flying pigeon also adds a nice touch.

J'adore Place des Vosges! It's one of my favorite places in Paris, because it is so peaceful. As soon as I saw the thumbnail, I was sure you had taken the picture there. Nice perspective here creating the diagonal. Excellent sharpness. Regards, Yvonne

I love the viewpoint on this one. I came to it via the other one you just posted. This has a great sky and a bird, too! The buildings look very imposing and the effect of the repeating windows and arched doorways is very strong. Not over-sharpened like your new one. Very good!
Regards,
Andrew
