Photographer's Note
Using the same technic as yesterday, I wanted to present you different faces of the brand new Eiffel tower. Indeed, in the frame of the Chinese New Year in France, the famous tower wore a completely new color for 5 days.
To give this serie an acceptable end, I felt it as abolutely necessary to get some picture of this Eiffel tower dedicated to China. But I fear the day I chose was not the right one... Indeed, after a hard day at work, I had to face a freezy rain so as to take few shots.
The first picture was taken from the Trocadero place, the second one from the flooded Seine bank and the last one from the very feet of the tower. As one can see, the clouds progressively gathered around the tower and it wasted a little bit the last picture created a weird red mist.
Technically, I only resized the picture and had to clone out the numerous dropplets from the front filter of my camera. What a sad day for this shots...

Yes! I was hoping that someone will post a picture of the old lady in her new chinese dress. I can see her from my place and I do enjoy watching her every night and specialy now. My digital camera is too crappy to take pictures from my windows (I've tried many time but it does require too much post-processing) and I can't get closer as I'm too sick to go out in the cold. And I don't have any more colour film roll for my EOS50.
Well done and thanks for sharing.

Beautiful pictures, especially given the way it was snowing/raining in Paris yesterday. I know, I was there! Personally I did't get to see the tower this close up for one reason or another so "well done".

A very beautiful capture Steven. I particularly like the "planar" spot lights cutting through the fog. Very clear detail. Well done.

Enfin une photo de notre tour que je n'ai pas vu depuis 7 mois...
Mis a part cela, tres belle composition de nuit, les 3 enchainement nous donne vraiment l'impression de nous rapprocher d'elle.
