Photographer's Note
After arriving the evening before courtesy of Eurostar, a quick stop for breakfast on the 'trottoir' then off on the full tourist bit around Montmartre.
Not warm enough back home to eat outside but our weekend in Paris was almost all warm sunshine.
Nice :o)
Very nice :o))

This certainly fits the theme beautiful black and white, with sharp and contrasting textures that are a pleasure to explore, and some nice dappled lighting. One thought is that you might try a slightly more sepia tone to give an impression of warmth.
As is common in roadside scenes you get converging lines up to the right which draws the eye from the initial focus of the cup and glass towards the car on the road. The relaxed mood of the picture might have been enhanced without the car as a distraction; it makes it a little busy.
The road itself sags down to the right of the shot rather than being horizontal, which I think stops the converging lines in the picture feeling too constraining.
I really like this shot.
