Photographer's Note
I just wanted to try to get that full moon tonight. I went on my balcony with the tripod. After few tries, I understood the tripod was useless since the speed required for such a shot was quite high.
I'm leaving for a long week-end. I hope I will have more interesting things to post quite soon :)

Pas mal Steven !
Très bon rendu en noir et blanc.
La netteté est correcte; il est même possible de la mixer avec des paysages.
Je vous souhaite bon voyage.

I like several things in this photograph:
1- the total and pure blackness which wraps the moon.
2- the relief of the moon is completely incredible. It seems to be in 3 dimensions!

Wow,
pretty huge moon for 200mm lens, Steven!
Was it high in the sky when you shot it?
Great job,
Robi

Very nice, Steven. You have captured a lot of interesting texture here, and I particularly like the "bottom" of the moon here, as it has a rough appearance against the black sky. Well done, keep it up,

Hi Steven, Good shot. And thanks for the shutter speed remarks. I tried it as well and yes: a tripod is no good.

wow.. I'm just wondering.. your camera must be very good to take this one.. I have tried to take pictures of the moon but that are so far from being as good as this one :)
