Photographer's Note
The tomb of Napoleon is close to the banks of the Seine, which is where the emperor wanted to be buried. It is located in the chapel of Les Invalides in Paris. The high alter was redesigned by the architect Louis Visconti. Napoleon's body is placed inside this chapel and is fashioned out of Finnish porphyry.
